Surrender

The French author and teacher, Margo Anand, said, “The word surrender has significant roots, in which ‘render’ has the meaning to melt and ‘sur’ means super or highest. The true meaning of surrender is to melt into that which is higher than yourself.”

I’ve always found that quote to be so beautiful. “Melting into that which is higher…”

Surrender is a key to powerful intimacy, a fundamental component of Tantra, and an empowering tool to process life’s ebb and flow in and out of the bedroom.

Surrendering doesn’t imply giving up or allowing defeat, but rather, with a softer sense of awareness, meeting life as it is. Letting go can be incredibly empowering, too, since we don’t need to deplete vitality for things unworthy of upset.

Release the belief that we can’t create reality differently. Because we most certainly can!

This notion stirs in the heart of all spirituality.

Surrendering during intimacy is sublime. Moving past the body into the spirit can catapult us beyond the physical into the most uplifting realms of eternal peace. Well, why not?

Surrendering sadness and anger towards human stupidity in an imbalanced society can be a bitch of a challenge, but well worth the effort.

Some days I can do nothing but surrender into the tornado of tear-inducing sensitivities, feeling deeply into every beautiful emotion with acceptance and nonjudgement; consecrating everything to Spirit.

Big hugs and blessings for a surrender into remembering our divinity and eternal connection to something pure, sweet, and infinite.
