I first experienced Tirzah’s yoga instruction in Koh Samui and was an instant fan! She has a lovely, measured flow and a beautiful instruction style. As well as strong focus on the breath, the asana are often held quite a long time which I really like as it gives you time to adjust and work on improving each posture.
I was also lucky enough to attend one of her retreats on Maui. My yoga practice strengthened significantly over this week.
I also booked Tirzah for regular massages during this week and discovered she is an equally brilliant massage therapist!
Tirzah’s instruction has improved my discipline and understanding of yoga more than any other teacher. I am really grateful for Tirzah’s efforts!
Never felt better after a deep tissue massage! Tirzah is such a sweet girl, and really knows how to make you feel calm and comfortable. The experience I had with my massage took me back to Grandma’s house as a kid when all was peaceful and worry free with that feeling and intuitive sense there would always be food waiting for me when ever my little heart desired. Needless to say, her talents and knowledge will take you back to that sweet relaxed, yet intense, moment in your childhood where the body first shook hands with the mind. Invigorating!
I have known Tirzah Shiya all of her life. I have watched her development into an adult who is a conscientious individual with great integrity. Since she has become educated in these fields, she has mastered various types of massage as well as yoga practice and instruction. I highly recommend her for anything and everything for which she is qualified.
